Relax in the guests lounge overlooking the gardens and the fishing fleet anchored in Mill Bay; take a stroll to Smugglers Cove or the Harbour View terrace, perhaps glimpsing some of Tasmania’s rarest birds, which frequent the grounds.
There is no traffic, no street noise. You won’t see masses of people, and your views are of wilderness, harbour, and the mountains.
Spend a relaxing day amongst nature and birdlife. Take a walk to explore the boats and foreshore of Mill Bay.
The Strahan town centre is only a three minute drive from the Lodge. From there, you can take a cruise, see a live performance of the famous “The Ship that Never Was,” play golf, or have a meal at one of the local restaurants or cafes.
Take a 4.5 km drive to Regatta Point for an amazing ‘trip to remember’ on the West Coast Wilderness Railway steam train. Visit Ocean Beach, 40 km long and only 2.5 km from the Lodge.
